Mods: added fan in luggage area to cool it & exhausts thru engine cover to cool eng compartment (details avail.); typical ignition mods + electronic box; removed emission plumbing, etc.; braided fuel lines; new springs & Spax shocks (rear adjustable spring height, only way to adjust camber, orig springs sag).
Nightmare repairs: too numerous to list or remember all. Lowlites: water pump (fixed w/ engine in car); timing belt w/idler pulley; clutch 2x, w/pilot bearing; clutch hydraulics, many times (use silicone fluid); left motor mount, many times (heat shield not originally available); transmission shifting lever in top of trans broke; gearshift shaft broke; leaky cam cover gasket (use orig. type w/ hi-temp RTV silicone, has held for years)
